So we're coming at you with a single hit @EchoChamberFP https://www.instagram.com/echochamberfp/ this week, after all that Christmas fun!!!
BUT, it's not the usual one and done, cause we're lacing you with a film / chat special, all thanks to the GREAT, AJ Feuerman. We take a look at a film that took a while to come together, which as these things sometimes do, worked out. Cause what we get is a hard boiled, psychological thriller, that keeps you drawn in all the way to the dramatic end! THEN, we sit down with the director (who also has a pivotal role in the joint), to find out how all of this came together. How time played into things, finding the litmus of the story, and what storytelling means to him, among a host of other things! This is another must watch / listen, so enjoy!!! So, 'Part TWO' of this week's @EchoChamberFP https://www.instagram.com/echochamberfp/ was one of those serendipitous situations!!!
I'd tried to look at the film earlier in the year, but things didn't come together. Out of the blue though, I got a message from the director, and we got things popping! Which was fantastic, cause this film.....the psychological rollercoaster is crazy! You don't know where it's going, and then when we get there, the questions!!! And of course, we sit down with this master storyteller in the making, to find out things like, what that feature debut vibe felt like. The freedom of working with such a great script and cast, the pressures of the subject matter, and a LOT more!!! Watch the conversation: HERE! https://youtu.be/R-KmktL_r-k
We were nearly there, but then wi-fi and illness delayed our special @EchoChamberFP https://www.instagram.com/echochamberfp/ 'Christmas episode'!!!
Never fear though, cause now it's live and you can still enjoy all the reviews and fun! In 'Part ONE', it may have been over 20 years, but we're returning to the amazon to hunt snakes! We see a fan favourite book make the jump to the BIG screen. PLUS, a new but beloved detective is back for a third adventurous case!
Things start to get tense & chilling for ‘Part TWO’ of this week’s @EchoChamberFP https://www.instagram.com/echochamberfp/ podcast!!!
None other than the GREAT AJ Feuerman blesses us once more with this new Psychological horror from a returning guest! We spoke with her (and collaborator Mehran Torgoley) all the way back on 'Echo Chamber - 163 - Part Two' https://www.podcaphilia.com/echo-chamber/ep163b, so getting to talk about her filmmaking journey was really interesting. Her co-lead was in tow too, so it was a well rounded chat about character development, acting techniques, and a whole lot more!!! Watch the conversation: HERE! https://youtu.be/YXq_69SnK-w
To mark this most auspicious annual date, 'Echoes From The Void!' #EFTV is getting the 'AJ Treatment'!!!
That's right people, the ever great AJ Feuerman came through with something slightly different this time out. Instead of a movie, we're taking a look at a new TV pilot, AND sitting down with not only the creative mind behind, BUT he also stars in the show! We get the story of how it all came together, the hurdles faced, the choices behind casting and so much more. A REALLY great confab, that I'm sure you'll enjoy!!! THEN, we sit down with the director of the film, and his producer, to really get some insights into the source of the feelings, why the documentary made sense, what it was like being back in the Philippines, and traveling to Buscalan. Big names have been doing their thing in recent weeks, but as the UFC comes home to Las Vegas, it's the up-and-comers who are taking centre stage tonight!
There are several fights on the 13 strong card that have serious ramifications for positions in title contention! Such as Norma Dumont hoping to seal her shot with a win over Ketlen Vieira. As the Heavyweight division is thin, Waldo Cortes-Acosta & Ante Delija will be trying to get closer with a win. And of course, the Headline bout, between Steve Garcia & David Onama could provide the next challenger for the strap!
You know how we do, @ChinCheckPod (ep 283) has previewed all the fights to make your life easier. So kick back and enjoy 'UFC on ESPN+ 121: Garcia vs Onama'!!!
We close out October with a heavy PPV live from Abu Dhabi! The UFC takes over the Etihad Arena as questions need to be answered around the Heavyweight strap!

Now, like 'Part Two' of our Christmas special, today's podcast came together through what we've been building. And that's what's great, cause having the opportunity to check out a really different type of detective tale is golden....or should that be wooden! We've had Holmes & Watson, Parriot & Hastings, and now we get to check out the BIG screen debut of Trillo & Suede! What a journey it's been, and the man behind it all stops by to talk about the past attempts, the building blocks of Shorts and webseries, and everything else in-between. PLUS, he's joined by a screen legend, who, after doning many iconic roles talks about the draw of an innkeeper. How her experience helped the production, the craft of acting and a whole lot more! This was a lot of fun, hopefully you enjoy it too!!! Watch the conversation: HERE! https://youtu.be/EGKoA0F7AGI
